Terms of Use

1. Age

The Service is for people aged 18 or over. You must confirm in the app that you are 18 or over before using it. That confirmation cannot be withdrawn.

2. Your account

Accounts are anonymous: no email address and no password. Because of that, there is currently no way to recover the same account on a new device or after deleting the app.

You can delete your account and its data from inside the app at any time. Deletion is permanent: your posts, photos, answers and balance cannot be recovered.

3. What the Service is

The Service collects anonymous readings (“Takes”) from other users on a photo or a piece of text you submit.

A Take is one person's subjective impression. We do not warrant that Takes are accurate, useful, or that they will produce any particular outcome. The Service does not provide medical, legal, psychological or other professional advice.

Where the Service shows an AI prediction, the screen says so: it is a prediction, not a human Take.

4. What you submit

You must have the rights to the photos and text you submit. Do not submit a photo in which another person is identifiable without their consent.

Do not submit anything unlawful, harmful, sexually explicit, harassing, impersonating, or otherwise inappropriate in our judgement.

We process submissions automatically for safety, and may hide or remove content.

5. Answering other people

When you give a Take, be candid and be decent. Harassment, discriminatory language, and attempts to identify a person are prohibited.

Answers judged inappropriate earn nothing, and repeated ones may cost you access to the Service.

6. Purchases

Paid items are billed to your Apple Account through the App Store. The price shown by the App Store is the only authoritative price.

An auto-renewing subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel through your Apple Account settings; we cannot cancel it for you.

Refunds follow Apple's policies. We have no ability to issue them.

7. In-app balance

Balances inside the Service (Take credits and the like) are a licence to use features of the Service. They are not currency, stored value, or property. They cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to anyone.

Deleting your account, or losing access for breach of these terms, forfeits any balance.

8. Suspension

We may suspend or restrict access without notice if you breach these terms.

9. Disclaimer and liability

Except in cases of our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for interruptions to the Service, loss of data, or consequences arising from the content of Takes.

Where mandatory consumer law does not permit these limitations, they do not apply to that extent.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes will be announced in the Service or on this page.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes relating to the Service.
